Dean is involved in the development and execution of digital strategies and sales for the entire Vance organization. Responsibilities include establishing deeply engaging, multiplatform content offerings through cross functional management of analytics, circulation, creative services, data, emedia, production, and research. Offerings include 65+ websites and communities, more than two dozen brands, multiple enewsletters, SEO/SEM and SNS programs, mobile marketing, specialized and custom client programs, games, microsites, lead-generation services as well as eLearning. Previously with Reed Business Information, Dean served as a general manager, director of emedia , group publisher and director of product and strategic development. A graduate of Rutgers University and the Strategic Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, he is a recognized speaker on digital strategies at conferences and trade shows, and was recently selected as a member of “Folio: 40.”
