Prior to American Express Publishing, he was content director for Hearst Magazines' Integrated Media division, where he was instrumental in creating many award-winning multi-platform programs. As editorial director of Hearst Custom Publishing, he led the division to numerous industry awards. He began his career as a researcher at Vanity Fair, then as research director at Vogue and was editor in chief of the luxury lifestyle magazine, Quest.
